NPA's local radio station, Red Dust Country FM, is operated on frequency FM 91.9 from studios in Bamaga.

The Queensland Remote Aboriginal Media (Aboriginal Corporation), or QURAMAC, provides the equipment, periodic maintenance and remote support for technical issues. The station provides current music mixes, local news adn current affairs and health promotons. The Bamaga facilities have two studios and transmit at 500 watts. The approximate reception range is 50 km.

Mobile Coverage

Telstra mobile phone coverage is available in Bamaga, New Mapoon, parts of Seisia, Umagico (patchy), and parts of Injinoo.
