'Many Cultures - One Spirit'

It is with immense pride that NPARC announces that it will once again host the NPA Cultural Festival in June 2016. This is an amazing opportunity for the NPA to showcase its talents to the wider Cape and Torres Strait Islander community with an array of talented guests and performers attending from near and far.

With a Festival Co-ordinator and a committee engaged solely for this project, the Festival is taking shape as word spreads throughout the Cape and Torres Strait Islander communities.

Sponsorship for the event is being sought from local businesses and other interested parties which will bring a vast range of economic opportunities to the region. Memberships range from bronze to gold with many attractive benefits attached for each level. If you are interested in sponsoring this exciting event, please contact the NPA Festival Co-ordinator via the details provided below.

The Festival Committee is also seeking expressions of interest from the local community for volunteer roles in preparation for and assistance during the event. This will serve as a unique opportunity to be part of a cultural phenomenon not before seen in the NPA and to gain valuable events coordination experience under the guidance and mentorship of the NPARC Events team.

NPARC would also like to hear from interested local stallholders for food and authentic local arts & crafts during the festival program. Initial expressions of interest can be lodged using the e-news form as per above.
